As a reminder, tomorrow is our classroom potluck where we will continue to celebrate culture by having a potluck of foods that are important to your family, your culture, and your traditions. Class potlucks will happen at the below times: K-5: 1pm 3K-PK: 1:25pm If you need to drop off food before the potluck time, you are welcome to bring it to me and I will hold it for you until the start of our potluck. IMPORTANT UPDATE: We've just learned that we will have a pantry delivery tomorrow morning (10/8/24) since we did not receive one last Friday! Just like with our Friday pantry deliveries, all families in the school are able to receive two boxes of food, and families can line up on E 139th St outside of the cafeteria door starting at 7:45am. We will have our PA meeting in room 110 on the first floor tomorrow 9:30am-10:30am so you can attend the PA meeting without having to bring your pantry boxes upstairs. We hope to see you for our pantry and our PA meeting tomorrow! Hi YLE families! Because there is rain in the forecast for tomorrow, there is a chance our Male Role Model event will move indoors to the cafeteria and gym. If this is the case, YLE K-5 students will dismiss through the auditorium door and families attending the Male Role Model event can enter the event through our main entrance.
